On Tuesday 01^st of January 2016, while on her way from a prayer meeting my mother Angela Gonzales was fatally struck down by a vehicle, in the vicinity of the Aranguez  Savannah. She died on the spot. However, in 2021 a judge ruled that they had insufficient evidence to charge the driver.

My mother was an able-bodied, coherent in every good physical, mental and social well being died of multiple injuries. Said driver did not stop and render aid. He was illegally using the bus route and fleeing the scene.
