My phone rang and on the other end was my brother’s best friend, Clarence screaming “ Ada help!” Smiley got into an accident and it not good, “come please.” Fear, anger, and confusion filled my mind and heart, as I sort to leave my ‘happy place’  by the sea to try to make it to my brother’s side.

Sad to say, I did not make it to him before he passed. I saw his body at the back of the ambulance and couldn’t contain myself. The last words or conversation I had with my brother was, that I was coming back home in a few so we can talk. My only regret is not staying when he asked me to before I left home an hour before.

May his soul rest in eternal peace and may he be guided by the Angels. R.I.P Smiley, return if possible.
