Each year in November, Arrive Alive joins with the United Nations World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims in the global observation of this event to highlight the real consequences of unsafe choices when using the nation’s roadways or where action or inaction by authorities ended in tragic results.
We have built Remembrance walls at the Grand Stand Savannah, Faith Park, Chaguanas, as well as Harris Promenade (close to City Hall) San Fernando to encourage all those to paste their photos of their loved ones lost on our nation’s roads.
United Nations World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims “Remember Me” will be observed on Sunday 20th November, 2016
Light a candle, keep the deyas burning, place flowers, say a prayer, and take photos. These memorials are there to remind us all that we stand together living with the pain of losing a loved one….Gone but never forgotten!
We have created a Wall Of Remembrance on our website for those who have lost their lives in road traffic incidents. Please add in your loved ones.
If you have lost someone in a road traffic incident, this bereavement booklet may help: One day at a time.
