Statistics

Evaluating statistical data is one of the pillars of the road safety management system. It helps us to determine what new interventions need to be launched to continue to decrease serious road collisions, injuries and death on our nation’s roads. Some of these would include vehicle standards, road engineering and maintenance (barriers, surface of the roads, pavements, signage, lighting), enforcement options, as well as breathalyzers, speed guns, education and awareness, transparent and rigorous licensing systems and improving the training and professionalism of our emergency response services.
