The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims 2015

Posted on: November 15th, 2015

On November 15th 2015, Arrive Alive hosted the local World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, with the particular theme to say “NO to ROAD CRIME”. This memorial walk/ride was made possible through the second year of Gold Level sponsorship of BHP Billiton, and partnership with Share the Road, with over 200 cyclists participating in the ride this year. As always we had the dedicated participation from many stakeholders such as the T&T Automobile Association, the TTPS, The Ministry of Works & Transport, Traffic Wardens and the Fire & Ambulance services, as well as many other sponsors.  The Hon Minister of Works & Transport, Fitzgerald Hinds, met our team and accepted our invitation as the guest speaker at this event.  He spent much time with us discussing road safety initiatives, and walking around our booths.
