The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims 2025
Join Arrive Alive for a Day of Remembrance, Support, and Action.

More than two lives are lost in road traffic crashes every minute.
These aren’t just statistics; Behind every number is a person—a family member, a friend—whose life was cut short.
On this World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, we pause to honor the precious lives that were lost and commit to a safer future. We also acknowledge the invaluable work of our First Responders who are on the front lines of this life-saving work.
Join us for our 5K Run, Walk, and Long Distance Cycling Ride on Sunday 16th November, 2025. Your participation helps us remember victims, support their loved ones and first responders, and take a stand to prevent future tragedies.
This year’s event offers a chance for everyone to get involved:

Additionally, the day is designed to engage and support our community:
Memorial Walk:

This walk allows family members and friends of road traffic victims, as well as the general public, to come together in memory of those who have lost their lives on the roads. It aims to raise awareness about road fatalities and advocate for safer road user behavior. Starting at the Queen’s Park Savannah at 6:30am, participants are invited to walk one lap in solidarity.
Educational Traffic Village:
The day doesn’t end at the finish line! An additional highlight of our WDR event is the vibrant Road Safety Traffic Village.
Step into a world of interactive learning and fun, where visitors can enjoy live demonstrations, participate in engaging games and grab some refreshments. There’ll be fantastic giveaways too! It’s a perfect space for families and individuals to deepen their understanding of road safety in a lively community setting.
Private Family Brunch:
A candlelight ceremony and a private brunch will be held for specially invited, immediate families of road traffic victims. This provides a quiet, supportive space for victims’ families to connect, share their stories, and find comfort in community.
Your participation sends a strong message that road safety is a priority. Let us remember those we have lost, support those who grieve, and act to prevent further tragedies.
Save the date and join us on November 16 2025!
