P – Petrol
O – Oils
W – Water
E – Electrics
R – Rubbers
Petrol
Ensure that you have enough fuel for the journey before leaving and/or you have money to put in some at the petrol station or your trip may well be cut short !!
Oils
Most vehicles have four basic oils to check:
- Engine
- Transmission
- Brakes/Clutch
- Power Steering
Water
- Cooling System: Radiator on older cars/Expansion tanks on newer ones (Coolant)
- Battery Water
- Windscreen Washer Fluid
Electrics
All Lights and Electronics – Head, Tail, Brake, Reverse etc.
Rubber
- Tyres
- Wiper Blades
