Kristen Preston, died 2020-05-29, 26 years old

My name is Marcia De Souza, and I am the mother of Kristen Preston, my first born. I lost Kristen in a vehicular accident on the 29 May 2020. She was 26 years old. A loving child. Kristen has a daughter Khadiqua who will be 9 years on the 7th November 2020, and she will miss her mother tremendously. We all would miss her.

Kristen lived home  with me, her daughter and two siblings. Kristen was a loving and fun-going person. She would make anyone laugh; if you are feeling down and out, she would find something ridiculous to say or do and just have you laughing. She has touched the lives of so many people. They grew to love her – her friends, colleagues, or schoolmates. They have all been really caring and compassionate. They have been reaching out to the family any way they could.

We are all missing Kristen one way or the other. We are all carrying hurt, loss and sadness but I pray for the grace of God. We’ll get through it because only He can help us through this. I pray that she’s resting in external peace and that we will meet again.
