On 16/04/21 around 9.30am, my father Richard Santana was involved in a road traffic accident that sadly claimed his life. He was the passenger of a truck driven by his cousin who was unhurt during the accident. The accident occurred on the Guaracara Tabaquite Main Road. The truck was descending the road with a  full load of quarry  material when the driver loosed control of the said truck , causing it to swerve off the road. There were no road barriers in that area, so the truck eventually flipped and ended up to the bottom of a small precipice. My fathers’ body was badly battered by the impact, and he presumably died upon impact.
