On August 08th of 2003 at 11:00 pm Shiva decided to go to a party, despite our objections, Shiva however insisted. On August 09th of 2003 at 3:00am, my phone rang, and my heart sank. We were informed of his accident, so we both headed to the hospital where we were told to prepare for the worst. Shiva was in a coma for 9 months. He is recovering and able to stand but the journey for the past 19 years has been rough and costly, ( financially and emotionally).
Prayers and our friends’ support have kept us going. WE thank and appreciate the efforts of Sharon and her team. Arrive Alive hard work to achieve that no drinking and driving message to drivers. We salute Arrive Alive.
