The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims 2011

Posted on: November 20th, 2011

Celebrated on November 20th 2011 in South Trinidad, this march focused particularly on those lives lost in the fateful accident which claimed the lives of several cricket lovers on their way to an exhibition match on Mosquito Creek roadway in 2009.

Yellow corsages as well as the Holistic Strategy in these folders were delivered to the Clerk of the House of Representatives and Cabinet for the Attention of The Hon Wade Mark the Speaker of the House of Representatives in 2011 to commemorate that year’s World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims in November.
The contents of the folder included the UN Resolution; the UN Recommendations for safer roads, safer vehicles and safer road users, as well as the Arrive Alive wish list for the short, medium, and long term plan for Trinidad & Tobago.
These packages were delivered by Sharon Inglefield of Arrive Alive,  to the Clerk of the House of Representatives in person for the members to wear in Parliament that November.
