On that day, Sunday morning at about 5:00am, my wife and myself were heading to a hotel in Maracas. We intended to relax on the beach first to see the sunrise. Before reaching the beach I tried to make a right turn around a curve on the road but another vehicle heading the opposite direction , came around the curve and came over on my side of the road. I swerve left off the road and hit the embarkment. The front left side of my vehicle hit the embarkment, so my wife got hit and passed away on the spot.

I was taken to Port-of- Spain hospital, checked and released that night.
